Becoming an EMT

In my senior year of high school, I had the opportunity to become a certified EMT with PRISMA Health at the School of Medicine Greenville. I learned so much about patient assessment and care. This rigorous program involved many knowledge and practical exams, a BLS/CPR certification, 24 hours of ambulance ride along experience, and the completion of an NREMT exam.
