Honors Contract: I studied health issues impacting the Latino community in a biological context with Dr. Nora Espinoza (my BIOL 1040 teacher). By reading and reflecting on public health topics through a biological lense, I enhanced my understanding of the topics covered in General Biology II. I was able to exercise my critical thinking skills by analyzing excerpts from relevant books and research articles and writing about what I learned. Final Reflection.
